Yet another riding holiday this summer has seen the family pack the horse truck and join the throngs leaving hot and sultry Auckland.

The family had a fantastic 3 days trekking in the spectacular countryside of the Kaueranga Valley. It is a weekend organised by the Thames Pony Club.

The evergreen pony Ballytruckle Shamrock, Welsh Cob X Tb at just 6 yo has added more strings to her already full bow.

7 year old Welsh cob X tb mare, Ballytruckle Shilelagh has won Champion Ridden Welsh Exhibit and Reserve Champion Ridden Cob in large classes at the November 2008 Royal Canterbury A&P Show.

On 1st June 2008 Shamrock was brilliantly ridden by 15yo rider Kristy Hill to come third in a class at one of a series of Waitemata Showhunter training competitions. Rain the night before resulted

Finally we have found out that Shamrock has finished fifth in the TB Floats Challenge nationwide. We are simply thrilled as she had performed so well throughout the season.
