Recently Conor West and Ballytruckle Shamrock qualified for Horse of the Year to be held in Hastings in March 2010. Shammy is a homebred Welsh cob X tb mare, 7yo, 146cm.

One weekend in November 2009 we travelled to Kerirkeri with full sisters Tb welsh cob crosses Ballytruckle Shamrock and Ballytruckle Sally Gap on board to compete in the Showhunter registered and

Thames Valley Adult Riding Club 3 day Series was a huge success for the Ballytruckle Stud.

At the Waitemata Dressage Championships at Woodhill Sands B. Shamrock ridden by Samantha Winn, competed in the Sunday 17 February 2008 competition.

In early December 2007 at the Auckland Manukau Dressage Group Festival of Dressage the consistent combination of welsh cob x tb B. Shamrock and rider Samantha Winn accumulated 9 points to win Reserve Champion for Level One.

B. Shamrock has done it again, she has won at her second dressage competition.

At the Auckland Manukau Dressage Group Spring Series Competition on 28 October 2007 she gained an exciting score of 76.66% to win the Level One class 1.2 by a strong lead. In her other test on the day she was placed 3rd.

Ballytruckle Shamrock is a 147cm 5yo 50% Welsh cob x 50% Tb, being by Millcreek Valiant and out of tb mare Star by Indian Ore.

Her first dressage competition at Woodhill Sands on 14th October 2007 was in the midst of a howling gale. She was completely unfazed by the wind and atmosphere of a large event on the sand arenas at Woodhill Sands.
