At the North Island Welsh Pony and Cob Foal Show Kingfisher Creek Mirabella (Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) X Ballytruckle Cleopatra (Mill Creek Valiant) proudly shown In-hand by her owner Claudia McCulloch won the Champion C&D title. Every time this family have been shown they have taken out this Championship under three different judges.

I was showing my big black filly Ballytruckle Kaleidoscope(Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) X Ballytruckle Alexander Rose), but due to being busy for the last month with a Showjumper none of the handling I had hoped to do had been done. So 3 days before the show the filly finally got haltered and had a lesson on leading and tying up- she was fine. She went up the steep horse truck ramp like a pro and we were off- she didnt sweat on the 2 hour trip and came off the truck very carefully. I was pleased how quickly she picked up trotting next to me- the first few classes were pretty hairy though.
Together Claudia and I entered the Sire Progeny class representing Cwmkaren Beaufort Express (imp) progeny and won it out of 5 pairs of foals of Welsh breeding.
